How can we help?

Mailvio Integration With Cloudflare

As a valued customer of Mailvio, we recognize the importance of a seamless and easy-to-do Sender Authentication setup. To enhance your experience with Maivio,

We have introduced the Sender Verification Tool

This allows you to verify the sender's email with Mailvio

This feature supports both the room domain setup but also any sub-domain sender authentication if you require that.

The following straightforward guide will assist you in effortlessly verifying Sender Authentication for your domain with Cloudflare:

Step 1:  Log in to Cloudflare Account - https://dash.cloudflare.com/login

Step 2: From the Cloudflare dashboard, go to My Profile > API Tokens

Step 3: Select a template from the available API token templates or create a custom token

Step 4: Add or edit the token name to describe why or how the token is used. Templates are prefilled with a token name and permissions

Step 5: Modify the token’s permissions. After selecting a permissions group (Account, User, or Zone), choose what level of access to grant the token. Most groups offer Edit or Read options. Edit is full CRUDL (create, read, update, delete, list) access, while Read is the read permission and list where appropriate. Refer to the available token permissions for more information

Step 6: Select which resources the token is authorized to access. For example, granting Zone DNS Read access to a zone example.com will allow the token to read DNS records only for that specific zone. Any other zone will return an error for DNS record reading operations. Any other operation on that zone will also return an error.

Step 7: Select Continue to Summary

Step 8: Select Create Token to generate the token’s secret

Step 9: Copy the secret API Token

Step 10: Now go to https://app.mailvio.com/sender-verification-tool  Select Cloudflare on the tab menu

Step 11: Select your Mailvio sender domain

Step 12: Paste the API Token into the input field for CloudFlare Integration settings

Step 13: Click on Save Integration Settings

Step 14: If everything goes right, click the '1-Click DKIM, DMARC, SPF DNS Setup’ Click Here.' button to set your Sender Verification DNS settings for Mailvio.

Step 15: Verify the DNS entries set in Cloudflare

Multiple SPF DNS Entries

If you have multiple SPF DNS entries, It’ll merge them into one single entry. If you already have an SPF set up, it will be included without losing any of your previous settings.

DMARC Reporting Email

To prevent 'DMARC report spam', we won’t set up a DMARC entry reporting email by default. But if you wish, you can manually set it up later.

If you encounter any issues or errors during this process, please get in touch with us. We are here to assist you every step of the way. You can contact our support team at any time by emailing support@mailvio.com
